Using an extensive network of academics, professionals and fieldworkers, Black Hat conducts surveys, in-depth data collection (physical and online), write research and position papers, as well as to provide support to other research agencies in South Africa and the continent of Africa.

4. Consulting
There is a growing accumulation of knowledge and expertise at Black Hat and clients constantly require us to share this with government entities, private companies, non-governmental organisations (NGOs), Small and Medium Enterprises (SMEs) and the broader society. Out of this need, we offer services such as facilitation, leadership advisory, public speaking, and second opinions on issues that require our experiences and competencies.
3. Leadership Development
This fragment of the Black Hat Group offers leadership master classes that are the ethos of IsiXhosa leadership principles.
Black Hat also offers a Leadership Book with every workshop or conference.
5. Corporate Elections
The Black Hat corporate elections division, XHAT, focuses on the elections of credible leaders in communities, TVET Colleges and corporate sector. Out of a growing demand for reliable and trustworthy private entities to run corporate elections, Black Hat is looking to grow this product across the African continent.
